The line that hit me: "We've outsourced our stupidity filter to machines that never did anything dumb in the real world."
I see the same thing happening in leadership. Teams now run ideas through AI before they ever say them out loud in a room. The AI gives a polished, reasonable response. So the person never says the dumb version the one that might have sparked something nobody could have predicted. The pre-rejection happens silently, before the conversation.
You can't build psychological safety when the most honest thinking never makes it into the room. The ignorance isn't just gone for the individual. It's gone for the group.
AI deals with the probable; only humans deal with the possible
And there’s gold in the improbable yet possible.
Exactly. That’s the source of all real innovation and discovery
The ignorance didn't produce the good outcomes. It just made trying cheap enough to bother. That's still available. AI didn't take it. Fear did.
Well then, every now and then, don't ask the AI and see what happens:)

Every once in a while, just do a project with zero AI...you'll find your beautiful ignorance again 😉
Goes to the heart of what's wrong with a lot of our AI usage-love it!
Thank you!
Great article, you address a very clear and crisp point seldom address.
Thank you so much!
