Traditional enterprises face increased competition from solopreneurs, DAOs, and nimble startups. In the age of AI, are static corporate models finished? Or are they too big to fail?
Great read, Jurgen. I don’t see yet an alternative to the execution and delivery capabilities of corporations. So until solopreneurs and SMEs can supply electricity, manufacture airplanes or provide healthcare, I think we’re stuck with them.
Systems that enflame the nervous system are the perfect medicine for us to create a better world. They show us exactly what we don't want. Eventually they become so painful that we can only choose something better.
That was a great reflection! We saw it with the internet itself... Blogs and indie sites flourished only to watch social media platforms consolidate attention and revenue from their content.
I think AI will do the same somehow. Tools that empower solopreneurs will also supercharge the coordination and reach of giant corporations who get the data (and use the data for more behavioral maneuver)
