Hey Jurgen, I'm so excited to hear that you're embarking on this new life!

You've been a great explorer and very impactful in my life, and I appreciate your "refusal to fit in" or "settle". I have had many lives, and although they seem very different in other people's eyes, they feel coherent and part of the same exploration from my perspective.

You embrace change and keep finding new ways to express yourself. This is just another round for you. Hopefully a very enjoyable one. And I wish this next cycle allows you to integrate a lot of the learnings and find their grounding.

We communicate more with our actions than our words. This newsletter will be silent for a while, maybe forever, but silence makes sound all the more special and meaningful. Your voice and your words will stay with us! And our support and appreciation will go with you!

Happy to read this, Jurgen!

I’ve been following your work for a long time now, from Management 3.0 and Managing for Happiness to your Substack today. And thinking back, your writing has somehow been there through quite a few different stages and endeavors in my own life and career.

What I’ve always appreciated is that you made me think. Sometimes rethink things I thought I had figured out. Sometimes just look at a problem from a completely different angle.

And that happened again a lot over the last months with what you’ve been writing about AI. Quite a few of those posts stuck with me and opened up perspectives I hadn’t considered before.

So after reading about some of the struggle along the way, I’m really happy to read this and to see that you’ve found an opportunity you’re excited about.

And also: thank you for sharing so much of your thinking over all these years. It has had more impact than you probably realize.

I am so happy to read this Jurgen! Your name came up a couple of times in the past year or so in conversation with a common friend of us as we were also on this “so, what’s next?” phase.

Now both of you are settled. 👏💙

Well, that's great news! Given my extensive background in healthcare, I think that you are a good match. Will miss the unexpected insights, though. It's where you are a master! Keep in mind that healthcare is not always a place to make these 'sudden-thought-moves'. Remember: I'm there to bounce things off related to AI and healthcare, if needed... Good Luck!

Thanks! Good to know!

Congratulations – sometimes it’s hard to find yourself and what makes you happy; sometimes we’re so caught up in the rat race that it’s hard to look beyond it. To see those little things that make life worth living, rather than the ones we’ve been led to believe are important.

I’m glad you’ve managed to do that.

We’ll miss you.

Thank you for all your hard work for us.

I wish you all the best!
